Mark Your Calendars for the Riverfront Blues and Barbecue Festival on Aug. 4-6

The Riverfront Blues and Barbecue Festival brings the best of local food and music to Wilmington’s stretch of waterfront. Held at the Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park from August 4th to the 6th this year, the annual festival showcases bluesy talents from around Wilmington and beyond. The main stage lineup includes Big James: The Chicago Playboy, the Alexis P. Suter Band, and Tab Benoit.

In addition to the live music, the Riverfront Blues and Barbecue Festival also features an amateur cookoff. Chefs from around Wilmington come to the park to show off their barbecuing skills, and you can taste-test your way through the fest to find your favorite barbecue fare. Tickets to the festival start at $30 for a single-day pass, but you can also spring for a three-day pass for $90 and enjoy every day of the fest.
