Race for a Good Cause During the Sheldon Shuffle 5K on Sept. 17

People of all abilities are invited to participate in the fourth-annual Sheldon Shuffle 5K. Scheduled for Saturday, Sept, 17, in Newark, the 5K race supports Exception Care for Children (ECC). Founded in 1998, the facility “bridge[s] the gap between traditional in-patient treatment and the difficulties of pediatric home care models.” In short, ECC relies on cutting-edge technology to help medically fragile children live happy, healthy lives. So when you head to the starting line of the Sheldon Shuffle at 9 a.m., you’ll know that you’re racing for a good cause.

If you register online before Sept. 9, your bib will cost $17.50. You can register on the day of the race for $30. The race starts and finishes across the street from The Greene Turtle in Newark.
