Juliana’s Kitchen: Quality Peruvian Cuisine in Wilmington

If you're tired of getting takeout while staying at Luxia Suites, look no further than Juliana's Kitchen. While this Latin American restaurant on the edge of Wilmington's Little Italy offers takeout, too, it would be a shame to miss out on the colorful decor and warm service you'd be able to enjoy if you ate in the dining room.

With Peru native Juliana Jiminez commanding the kitchen and her husband and co-owner Edwin acting as maitre d', you get the feeling of eating at a good friend's house — not only is this five-year-old restaurant cozy and welcoming, the plates that emerge from the kitchen are brimming with critically acclaimed cuisine prepared with care.

This includes the tender pork stew, ceviche, banana leaf tamales, and toasted cancha corn snacks, and the much loved breaded sirloin served with a crispy cake of refried beans and rice.

Regulars recommend making reservations as the dining room (as well as the upstairs dining room) have a limited number of tables.
