Sheryl Crow to Debut INWilmington!

Sheryl Crow fans rejoice!!! Sheryl will be debuting in Diner at Riverfront Wilmington’s Delaware Theatre Company! The book is  by Academy Award-winner Barry Levison, music & lyrics created by nine-time Grammy Award-winner Sheryl Crow and directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall. With a team like that the production is sure to be a hit!

Diner will be showing from December 2nd-27th and tickets can be purchased here. The show takes place around Christmas in Baltimore in 1959. The show is about a group of childhood friends that are reuniting for a wedding and are confronting the realities of adulthood. Their one escape is the diner, where they always feel comfort and a sense of belonging. With women’s roles changing and expanding during that time period, Sheryl’s music for the show greatly focuses on what was symbolic for that period with songs like “Don’t Give it Away” and “The Games we Play.”
